Overview and Application Guidelines
Purpose & Eligibility
Established by family and friends of Laurent-G. Denis, a professor at the iSchool from 1970 until his death in 1987.
Awarded to one (1) student per year, in the Master of Information (MI) program, who will have completed at least four half-courses before taking up the award, and who will be a full-time student during the tenure of the award.
The award is offered annually for the Spring Term on the basis of previous academic standing.
Financial need may be taken into account.
Award Value & Duration
$700 CAD. Award disbursements may be split across multiple terms depending on total value.
This award is non-renewable (one year only).
