Overview and Application Guidelines
Purpose & Eligibility
Awarded to up to two (2) second year students per year (who will remain full-time during the tenure of this award) in the Masters of Information program following the LIS path. The recipient must be enrolled in at least one public library course, and have a demonstrated interest in public librarianship. Previous work / volunteer experience at a public library will be looked upon favourably.
Award Value & Duration
$1000-2000 CAD. Award disbursements may be split across multiple terms depending on total value.
This award is non-renewable (one year only).
