The Boundless Campaign offers many opportunities to make a lasting contribution to the Faculty of Information. The following provides an overview of the Faculty’s campaign priorities and provides information about the various ways you may direct a gift.

Preparing Global Citizens

Our goal is to foster international fluency and leadership skills among our students – by raising funds to support student awards and providing opportunities that nurture creativity, collaboration, critical thinking and global perspectives.

Ensuring Access & Opportunity

Ensuring access and opportunity for the best and brightest students, regardless of means, is our top priority.

Graduate students—and the original research they undertake—are essential to the University of Toronto’s global standing, as well as Canada’s competitiveness in the knowledge economy. These emerging scholars are also vital to the recruitment and retention of our leading faculty members.

The campaign for the Faculty of Information seeks private-sector funding to endow graduate awards. This crucial aid will ensure that we can continue to compete at a global level and attract the best graduate students, regardless of their means.

Private support for graduate students will encourage these talented individuals to join us as they advance knowledge and seek solutions to some of the world’s most pressing information challenges.

Scholarships, Bursaries, Awards & Fellowships

The Faculty of Information is committed to educating the next generation of information leaders. Funding of scholarships, bursaries, awards and fellowships helps to ensure that the best minds are attracted to U of T, and that a prospective student will never be deterred from a career in the field of information because of financial constraints.

Preparing Transformative Leaders

Philanthropic investment in this area will ensure we continue to prepare information professionals for the future and meet the growing demand for leaders in the field.

Meeting Global Challenges

Our goal is to ensure our students are given opportunities to gain the knowledge, experiences, and skills needed for an increasingly complex global setting.

Funds raised will support the Faculty’s world-class scholars, attract a new generation of faculty, and make critical enhancements to programs and infrastructure.
