Bio
Leslie Regan Shade is a Professor Emerita at the Faculty of Information. From 2012-2025 she taught in the area of Critical Information Policy Studies and held several service roles including PhD Program Director and Associate Dean Research. Her research focus since the mid-1990s is concerned with the social and policy aspects of information and communication technologies (ICTs), with a focus on gender, youth and political economy.
