This workshop will offer an overview of the current employment market in museums and some strategies for securing your first professional position. In this workshop, you will learn about:
- Traditional (and non-traditional) career paths for the sector (pre COVID and observations on what may be changing)
- Building your network & gaining experience
- Writing resumes & cover letters, with advice specifically for museum positions
- Preparing for interviews
