Overview

This workshop will provide an overview of archives and records management workplaces, positions, and the current climate of the ARM job market.


Learning Outcomes

The learning outcome of the class is for you to:

    • Where to look for a job in Archives & Records Management (ARM).
    • How to network and get experience.
    • How to write effective resumes and cover letters.
    • How to prepare for an interview and what to expect when interviewing for different positions.
    • How to negotiate job offers, and advocate for yourself in precarious/contract work situations.
