Job Description

This belief has driven us to invent a truly breakthrough technology that significantly enhances vision for many people living with serious visual impairments.

We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our close-knit product team within the wider R&D division. In this role, you will work closely with our engineers, sales and manufacturing team, while creating wireframes, suggest UI patterns and UX improvements, and conduct user interviews and design research.


What you’ll be working on:

  • Design research activities that help answer the relevant questions with qualitative and quantitative data
  • Reach out to users to schedule regular research sessions
  • Conduct research activities, compile the results, and communicate the findings to relevant stakeholders
  • Take a feature request and flesh it out into a production ready feature by going through the discovery, refinement and design process
  • Clearly design and discuss use flows, wireframes and prototypes with both users and the R&D team
  • Develop high fidelity UI for the different platforms (wearable / mobile / web)
  • Regular communication with users / coaches and sales to discover pain points and solutions
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis and market intelligence activities to understand the trends in the industry 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Minimum 2 years of UX/UI design experience
  • Design experience with strong understanding of HCI (Human computer interaction) design principles.
  • Solid understanding of information architecture, user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, prototypes and visual interfaces.
  • Experience with design tools (e.g. Sketch, Figma, Adobe creative suite, Invision, etc.
  • Prior experience conducting usability testing sessions and report results.
  • Prior experience in conducting quantitative user research.
  • Excellent communication skills in articulating and presenting design concepts, reports etc.
