| Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q) is seeking a service-oriented, self-directed, energetic and forward-thinking professional for the Instruction and Outreach Librarian position. The librarian will assume multiple leadership responsibilities in the areas of teaching and outreach that include liaising with academic departments, delivering course-integrated library instruction, offering specialized reference and research support services, creating instructional materials, assisting in assessment of services and resources, developing collections and organizing library outreach activities.It is a non-tenure regular track faculty position under Carnegie Mellon’s Policy on Librarian and Archivist Appointments. The term of the initial appointment is three years, and the librarian is expected to meet criteria for reappointment and promotion.
