The graduate students in the Heritage Conservation stream of the School of Indigenous and Canadian Studies are pleased to announce their upcoming symposium for 2018 titled: “Embodied Heritage Praxis: Ontologies of Participation and Process.” The Carleton University Heritage Conservation Symposium is a one-day event run by graduate students in the School of Indigenous and Canadian Studies. The event aims to bring together students, academics and professionals in critical discussion on heritage- and conservation-related issues and questions.
The symposium will take place on April 28, 2018 in Ottawa, ON, submissions are now being accepted. All submissions should include a brief current CV and an abstract describing the proposed paper, performance or artwork (maximum 300 words). For artworks and performance proposals, please include links to any videos or relevant multimedia or include up to 5 images.
