2019 SSHRC Storytellers Contest

Submitted on Friday, November 23, 2018

SSHRC recently launched its annual Storytellers contest, challenging all postsecondary students to creatively demonstrate to Canadians how social sciences and humanities research has an impact on our lives and on our communities. Take this opportunity to showcase your amazing talent and research!

The contest is open to all students—graduate and undergraduate—enrolled at Canadian postsecondary institutions. The challenge is to tell the story, in 3 minutes or 300 words, of a SSHRC-funded research project at your institution – it can be your own or a professor’s. SSHRC will select 25 finalists to receive a $3000 cash prize and specialized training in research communications. Deadline to submit entries for the 2019 contest is January 31, 2019.
