The 2025 Ian P. Sharp Lecture, “Weaving the Future: Indigenous Knowledge and the Ethics of AI,” brought together two distinguished speakers, Morgan Vigil-Hayes from Northern Arizona University and Jennifer Wemigwans from the University of Toronto, to explore how AI can be shaped with respect, relationality, and responsibility, rooted in Indigenous ethical frameworks. The talk was moderated by Danica Pawlick-Potts, PhD candidate at Western University.

Their engaging presentation was followed by a lively audience Q&A session.
