Alternative Careers: I never knew I could do this with a library degree! – Special Libraries Association Event

Shine a light on your career path on Tuesday, May 14th as SLA Toronto and the First Five Years Committee hosts its alternative careers panel hosted here at the iSchool.

Titled “Alternative Careers: I never knew I could do this with a library degree!” the event features a lively and engaging discussion with a panel of information professionals who have found their niche, including:

  • Competitive Intelligence
  • Statistics And Data
  • Collection Development And Learning
  • Copyright
  • Library Vendor

Event attendees will hear from six information professionals who will share their experiences on how they landed their first professional jobs, how to transfer skills, explore alternative career pathways, and suggest transitions to careers.
