Bissell Exhibition: Can Artificial Intelligence Create Art?

Submitted on Tuesday, April 23, 2019

Drop by the Bissell Building, home to the Faculty of Information and its Museum Studies program, to see this year’s AI-inspired Art x Bissell exhibit. Entitled “Reading Faces, Reading Minds: Intersections between Art and AI”, the exhibit uses art to explore the various ways artificial intelligence is shaping our lives.

The art, which can be found on the second, third, fourth and seventh floors, was either created using AI, like the 9% Saltshaker image above by Danielle Baskin, or inspired by Artificial Intelligence.

The exhibit was put together by Victoria Delisle, Andrew Falcao, Natalie Hajduk and Katlyn Wooder for their Exhibition Project class.
