Talking to New People – Small Group 5 Week Intensive
This experience will group 8 people who do not know each other in one group for 5 weeks to practice relationship building tools and strategies in the hope that some deeper connections will develop.   We hope that through the five weeks the structure will feel less and less formal so that we can create some of the informality that many people are missing being online all the time.  Each group will be facilitated by a Peer Mentor.

The schedule will be as follows:

Week One – get to know the group
Week Two – speed networking
Week Three – paired with another student to come up with a list of possible social activities online that the group could participate in
Week Four – social activity online
Week Five – how was the experience, what do you still need, what could we do better, how are you going to move forward?

If you are interested in participating, please fill out the Statement of Interest using the following link:

Please register on the Career and Co-Curricular Learning Network (CLNx) –, or through the organization links. Spaces are limited; registration is required. After registering, and before the event, registered individuals will receive a link to participate.  Please check the Career and Co-Curricular Learning Network often to see the most up to date schedule of events.

Prior to attending a recruitment information session, please read the Student Guide to Recruitment Information Sessions.
