The Faculty of Information’s Learning Hub is co-presenting a Data Science Hackathon with Service Canada. It got underway Thursday, March 2nd and will continue until Sunday, March 5th when the winners will be chosen.
All the 20 participating teams of undergraduate and graduate students get the opportunity to:
- Experience working on a large data science problem.
- Engage with professionals in the data science community.
- Demonstrate their data science skills to representatives from Employment and Social Development Canada, who are actively recruiting students for full-time work.
- And win a share of the $10,000 prize money!
