MISC Diversity Working Group’s First Reading Group Session

Submitted on Tuesday, October 29, 2019

Let’s talk critically about our education and professions! Join the MISC Diversity Working Group (DWG) for its FIRST reading group session where we’ll discuss Norda Majekodunmi’s chapter “From Recruitment to Tenure: A Reflection on Race and Culture in a Canadian Academic Library.” This reading group is meant to complement studies at the iSchool and we encourage all iSchool students, staff, faculty, and alumni to join us for our reading group series.

This reading group is affiliated with an initiative coming out of UofT’s Jackman Humanities Institute to encourage students of professional faculties to think critically about their education.

You’re welcome to bring your own food!

If you have any questions, suggestions or concerns, please email us at thediversityworkinggroup@gmail.com. We encourage everyone to register on Eventbrite if you plan on attending.
