The 2018 OMA Annual Conference, hosted by the Toronto Museum Network will take place from October 24 – 26, 2018. This year’s focus will be, “Collaborating for Impact: Not Business as Usual In Workforce, Collections, Audiences”.
Proposals that will offer case studies, different perspectives and reflections within one of three streams – Workforce, Collections, and Audiences are welcome.
Proposals are encouraged from people who identify with groups underrepresented in the museum community including but not limited to: Indigenous, Francophone, LGBTTIQQ2SA, racialized communities, persons with disabilities, persons who are d/Deaf, blind or low vision, Refugees, new Canadians, and/or persons living before the poverty threshold who may contribute to the further diversification of ideas.
Individuals or organizations who would like to present at the Conference are invited to submit proposals and related materials by visiting the conference website by March 9th, 2018.
