Are you interested in engaging in an international work experience through a paid summer term?
The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarship Program (QES Program) is a great opportunity to engage in paid international work or research for the Summer of 2018. Please see below for opportunities that focus on social impact, literacy, scientific research, education, or Indigenous advocacy:
Literacy and Indigenous Language Education
Community development, French and English language teaching, assessment, evaluation, and capacity building in education for women, girls, and youth with disabilities in Rwanda and India
Inclusive Innovation for Development
Social impact and entrepreneurship education and development in Cape Town, South Africa
Enhancing Health and Science Education and Research
Knowledge Translation, research, counselling, survey testing, and educational materials development for cancer research and awareness in Nairobi, Kenya.
Successful candidates receive $7,000 toward a 90-day internship. All QES applicants are responsible for securing a course for credit for their summer term. All opportunities are open to undergraduate and graduate students.
