School of Cities ‘Affordable Housing Research Cluster’ – Call for Participation

Submitted on Thursday, October 24, 2019

The School of Cities is excited to announce a new opportunity for UofT faculty members and graduate students to join a scholarly community focused on addressing the complex issue of affordable housing.

We are looking to bring together scholars with different disciplinary perspectives from across the tri-campus to discuss and debate the causes, processes, policies and consequences of our city’s declining housing affordability. For more information about this project and the School of Cites, please visit https://www.schoolofcities.utoronto.ca/research/cities-opportunity

The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, November the 5th, from 12:30pm – 2:00pm in room MY850 (8th floor) of the Myhal Centre located on 55 St George St.

Light refreshments will also be provided.

Come network and explore how we can collaboratively help drive forward an agenda which assures cities are thriving spaces that provide opportunities for all.

If you have any questions, or are interested in joining our research community, please email Natasha Cheong at affordablehousing.sofc@utoronto.ca with ‘research cluster’ in the subject line.
