The Summer Work Study is open to domestic undergraduate and graduate degree students studying on a full time or part time basis (i.e., registered in at least 1.0 credits) and International undergraduate and graduate students studying on a full time basis, continuously from May to August 2019. International students studying on a part time basis are NOT eligible to work on Campus – please see the Government of Canada website for rules and regulations.
- You are permitted to accept ONE Work Study position per program period.
- You do NOT have to be OSAP eligible to apply for Work Study positions.
2019 Summer Work Study Application Period
Work Study positions will be posted on CLNx starting April 8, 2019 and will be removed by June 7th, 2019. Ensure you check the application deadline for each job posting as each employer may select a different deadline date.
Hiring Period: April 8 – June 7
- May 6, 2019 – August 9, 2019 (UTM & UTSC)
- May 13, 2019 – August 9, 2019 (St. George)
Hours and Rate of Pay
As a Work Study student you will be paid bi-weekly equal to the minimum wage plus 4% vacation pay. The maximum hours of work are 15 hours per week and 100 hours for the Summer term.
