The Rose Wolfe Distinguished Alumni Award – Accepting nominations until Dec. 3rd

NOMINATE AN OUTSTANDING COMMUNITY LEADER

The Rose Wolfe Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes exceptional individuals who demonstrate outstanding achievement in their professional lives, dedication to civic, charitable and social causes, and extraordinary service to the University of Toronto, in a way that enables or inspires others to reach their full potential.The award was established originally in 1997 and was presented twice.  The UTAA and the University of Toronto are pleased to present the revitalized version of this award after a long hiatus.Dr. Wolfe (BA 1939 UC, Diploma in Social Work 1940) was an exemplary champion for her alma mater whose profound impact as a volunteer remains her ongoing legacy at the University.  She had a distinguished career in social services and was a highly-respected humanitarian, community leader and volunteer active with many organizations including Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto Jewish Congress, McMichael Art Gallery and the National Ballet of Canada to name just a few of her lengthy and diverse contributions.   Dr. Wolfe passed away in 2017 several month after her 100th birthday.

The Selection Committee for The Rose Wolfe Distinguished Alumni Award will select one award recipient from among the pool of candidates received.
