Printmaking for community programming


This is an in-person workshop.  

This in-person workshop is an introduction to adaptable, low-cost printmaking tools and methods with an eye to their use in community programming for all ages. Following a brief history of several popular printing and printmaking methods, participants will create handmade prints using different methods of relief printing.

Participants will practice:

  • Making prints using different printmaking methods and tools.
  • Setting up and using several tabletop presses.
  • Experimenting with and adapting printmaking methods.
  • Leading others through this process in the future.
