Henria is a PhD student in the Faculty of Information and has a collaborative specialization with the Centre for South Asian Studies. Her doctoral research examines the role of personal archives and archival practices within women’s movements in Sri Lanka. More broadly, her work seeks to interrogate dominant archival theory in the contexts of postcolonial South Asia. Before arriving at the iSchool, Henria spent two years as an archivist for a British Library Endangered Archives Programme in Jaffna, Sri Lanka.
