Shiralee Hudson Hill is an award-winning museum planning consultant known for creating engaging and memorable museum experiences. With over two decades of experience in the museum field, her passion for innovation and community building fuels her work, most recently as Lead Interpretive Planner at the Art Gallery of Ontario. Her podcast “Into the Anthropocene” was named one of the top Canadian podcasts of 2018 by Apple and honoured with an American Alliance of Museums award for media excellence. As a specialist in the craft of museum label writing, her texts have also won awards from the American Alliance of Museums’ Curators Committee. She has guest lectured at Harvard University, the University of Toronto, the Ontario College of Art and Design, and Ryerson University. Before her time at the AGO, she worked on cultural projects worldwide as a consultant with the museum planning firm Lord Cultural Resources and also held positions with Arts Etobicoke, the Ontario Science Centre, and the National Museum of Ireland.
