Governance

The Faculty of Information Council is the governing body responsible for the academic affairs of the Faculty. In accordance with the University of Toronto Act, 1971 of the Province of Ontario, the Council exercises powers and duties in a number of areas, including: 

Determining academic policies at the Faculty 

Determining the content and requirements of its degree and diploma programs 

Scheduled Faculty Council Meetings 

Indigenous Action and Anti-Colonialism Committee

The Faculty of Information’s Indigenous Action and Anti-Colonialism Committee (IAACC) is a committee of Faculty Council that provides feedback and guidance to the Faculty of Information on issues related to its commitment to implementing the Calls to Action of the National Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
