Faculty of Information Fellowships
Purpose and Eligibility
The Faculty of Information offers fellowships to a limited number of outstanding incoming students to the Master of Information (MI) or Master of Museum Studies (MMSt) programs. Open to full-time domestic and international students demonstrating academic excellence in their admitting undergraduate degrees. Awarded to incoming full-time students, enrolled in the Master of Information (MI) and / or Master of Museum Studies (MMSt) program(s). High standing in previous academic work required, with a minimum GPA of A- (3.70/4.0) required. Students who are in receipt of SSHRC (CGS-M) or OGS are ineligible for this fellowship.
Award Value and Duration
This award is non-renewable. Recipients must remain registered full-time for the entire academic year they hold the award.
How to Apply
This is an automatic admission / entrance award. No additional application is required. You are automatically considered for this award with your application to the MI or MMSt program.
To be automatically considered for any Faculty of Information entrance awards / scholarships, all application materials need to be received by the application deadline – January 31.
This includes the online application form, application fee, and all supporting documents.
The applicant must have a minimum 3.80 / 4.0 admission average / A average to be considered.
The review process for admission awards includes consideration of the applicant’s full academic history, personal statements, CV/resume and reference letters.
