Faculty of Information International Fellowship
Purpose and Eligibility
The Faculty of Information International Fellowship is provided to the top ranked international applicant to the Master of Information and/or Master of Museum Studies programs on the basis of high standing in previous academic work, community involvement and contribution, and leadership.
Recipient must remain registered full-time for the entire academic year they hold the award.
Ineligibility
Student that are in receipt of OGS is ineligible for this fellowship.
Award Value and Duration
Full international student tuition and some living expenses. Award disbursements may be split across multiple terms.
This award is automatically renewable for one year under the following condition(s):
- Master of Information (MI): Cumultative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.70 or better is attained in the first 8 (4.0 FCEs) graded courses.
- Master of Museum Studies (MMSt): Cumultative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.70 or better is attained in the first 7 (3.5 FCEs) graded courses, excluding MSL3000H, during the first 12 months of the program.
How to Apply
This is an automatic admission / entrance award. No additional application is required. You are automatically considered for this award with your application to the MI or MMSt program.
To be automatically considered for any Faculty of Information entrance awards / scholarships, all application materials need to be received by the application deadline – January 31.
This includes the online application form, application fee, and all supporting documents.
The applicant must have a minimum 3.80 / 4.0 admission average / A average to be considered.
The review process for admission awards includes consideration of the applicant’s full academic history, personal statements, CV/resume and reference letters.
