Rare Books and Manuscripts Prize
Purpose and Eligibility
Awarded to one full-time Master of Information (MI) student per year, who ranks highest in the elective course “Rare Books and Manuscripts” obtaining a standing of at least ‘A’ in that course and an average of not less than ‘B+’ in the program.
Award Value and Duration
The amount of this award varies annually. This is a one-time-only award.
How to Apply
All Master of Information (MI) students who complete the course “Rare Books and Manuscripts” are automatically considered for this award. Students who convocated the previous November are automatically considered as well.
Selection Process
This award is presented to the student who has attained the highest GPA in the required course and who has maintained an over all GPA of not less than “B+”. The successful recipient will be informed via email from the Awards Committee (awards.
Recipients are presented this award at the Faculty of Information Awards Presentation during the Faculty’s June Convocation Reception, held immediately after the June Convocation Ceremony.
