Purpose and Eligibility

Established by the Toronto Area Archivist Group, this award is to be given to one full-time or part-time graduand with the highest academic achievement in the Archival Studies stream of the Master of Information Studies program in the Faculty of Information Studies.

Award Value and Duration

The value of this award varies annually and only one is offered each year. This is a non-renewable award.

How to Apply

All Master of Information (MI) students who are in the ARM concentration are automatically considered for this award.

Selection Process

This award is presented annually to the student who has attained the highest GPA in the ARM concentration. The successful recipient will be informed via email from the Awards Committee (awards.ischool@utoronto.ca).

Recipients are presented this award at the Faculty of Information Awards Ceremony during the Faculty’s June Convocation Reception, (held immediately after the June Convocation Ceremony). Students who convocated in the previous November are automatically included in the consideration of potential award recipients.
