Purpose and Eligibility
University of Toronto students have access to over 5,800 in-course awards every year. These awards are awarded to current students.
Learn more about the various in-course award opportunities, their eligibility criteria, and application process below. In addition to these, there are other awards offered by divisions that may require a separate application.

Award Value and Duration
These awards are administered by the University Registrar’s Office and vary both in value and numbers awarded annually.
How to Apply
New for Fall 2024 / Winter 2025: All in-course awards will be awarded in the Fall term. The application will open Monday September 9, 2024 and close on Friday November 1, 2024 at 5 p.m. Only one application is required. You may apply for multiple awards on one U of T Student Award Application Form. Please be sure to check the award criteria before selecting the award.
The use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools, such as ChatGPT and other AI applications, is prohibited when creating content for any University of Toronto undergraduate award application.

Successful applicants will be notified by the University Registrar’s Office.
