William L. Graff Memorial Prize
Purpose and Eligibility
Awarded annually to the full-time or part-time MLS student who ranks highest in the elective course “Public Library and the Community” obtaining at least an “A” in that course and an average of not less than “B+” in the MLS program.
Award Value and Duration
The amount of this award varies and was $150 in 2024. It is a one-time only award and is non-renewable.
How to Apply
All Faculty of Information masters-level students, who have taken the required course, are automatically considered for this award
Selection Process
This award is presented annually to the student who has attained the highest GPA in the required course. The successful recipient will be informed via email from the Awards Committee (awards.
Recipients are presented this award at the Faculty of Information Awards Ceremony during the Faculty’s June Convocation Reception, (held immediately after the June Convocation Ceremony). Students who convocated in the previous November are automatically included in the consideration of potential award recipients.
