Course Description
This course (INF2213H – Generative AI and its Application to Music) provides an in-depth exploration of generative AI techniques and their applications in music composition. Students will learn foundational and advanced concepts, including Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Transformers, and neural network architectures. Through hands-on projects using open-source libraries, students will train and evaluate AI models for music generation. The course emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and technical proficiency, equipping students with the skills to innovate at the intersection of AI and music.
