Course Description
Knowledge of and demonstrated capacity for project management is an essential capacity for information professionals. Today organizations across all industries are looking for ways to accelerate project success. To do that quickly and effectively they are combining agile practices, which include different ways of organizing teams to build solutions fast, with the best of traditional project management. The result is an approach to projects that embraces adaptability and agility when today’s fast-moving marketplace is in constant change and the need for flexibility is high. By the end of this course (INF450H1 – Project Management with Agile) students will have acquired a knowledge of project management in general and appreciate why forward-thinking organizations and project professionals are using Agile practices and how to create and deliver project success in an agile environment.
