How do we understand decision-making in software adoption? Join Professors Safwat Hassan and Vera Khovanskaya for a discussion on the methods and challenges in researching these decisions.
Prof. Hassan will report on quantitative analysis approaches, examining what can be learned from mining user reviews to identify patterns in satisfaction and preferences, while Prof. Khovanskaya will explore how perceptions of financing influence technology adoption, exploring the complex and often hidden factors that guide these decisions.
Both will reflect on working with imperfect data, navigating the complexities of understanding how people make choices in the technology landscape.
