Description

This seminar explores the phenomenon of physician burnout through a sociotechnical lens.  I will present the findings of a scoping review and a mixed-methods study that examined:

1) the association between physician burnout and the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) outside of work hours

2) how physicians’ use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) outside of work hours contributes to the blurring of work and home life boundaries.
