Bio
Fiorella Foscarini holds a PhD in Archival Studies from the School of Library, Archival and Information Studies at the University of British Columbia. Before joining academia, she held archival positions in Germany and in Italy. She has also taught archival studies in the Department of Media Studies at the University of Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. In her teaching and research, Professor Foscarini uses diplomatics, rhetorical genre studies, and information culture concepts to explore issues related to the creation, management, and use of records in organizational contexts.
