Bio

Victoria is a PhD student in the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto. She is advised by Shion Guha and is part of the iSchool’s Human-Centred Data Science Lab

Victoria’s research focuses on the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare and health systems. She both quantitatively deconstructs existing models and develops novel solutions to assist diagnosis, resource allocation, and risk prediction efforts across North America. Victoria’s research utilizes human-centered algorithm design principles to incorporate sociotechnical context and emphasize co-design contributions throughout her work.
