Bio
Dana Murray is a PhD student at the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto studying disasters, care work, and cultural heritage. Her research examines the affects of extreme weather events on gallery, library, archive, and museum (GLAM) practitioners as they seek to navigate between professional and personal duties in periods of crisis, as well as the emergent practices that stem from this tension.
Prior to her doctoral studies, Dana worked as a collection specialist and registrar in federal, municipal, and private museological collections.
