Bio
Rohith Sothilingam is a PhD student at the Faculty of Information in the Human-Centered Data Science (HCDS) stream. His research is focused toward conceptualizing a requirements-driven framework for developing Machine Learning (ML) solutions which emphasize ML explainability & interpretability and data governance in ML. His research has involved partnering with government and industry organizations to produce solutions which encompass the entire lifecycle of an ML initiative with focus on human-centered concerns, from problem understanding to data sets selection, algorithm selection and ML model building and testing, to solution deployment and ongoing validation.
