Bio
Blair is a Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Information. Their research examines the governance and ethics of artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on how stakeholder values and value chains influence AI governance outcomes. Blair’s research is influenced by their experience working as an information management professional on a variety of digital transformation, business development, and applied research projects in public sector, post-secondary, and entrepreneurial environments. Their Ph.D. research has been funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) with a Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship (2021-2024), as well as by two Ontario Graduate Scholarships (2019-2020 & 2020-2021).
