Dana Murray

Bio

Dana Murray is a cultural heritage worker and PhD candidate at the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto studying disasters, care work, and cultural heritage. Her research examines the affects of extreme weather events on gallery, library, archive, and museum (GLAM) workers as they seek to navigate between professional and personal duties in periods of crisis, as well as the emergent practices that stem from this tension.

Dana is grateful to have received financial support for her doctoral research from the Canada Graduate Research Scholarship – Doctoral (CGRS-D), the Ontario Graduate Scholarship program, and the National Trust for Canada’s Herb Stovel Scholarship.
