Bio
Madison is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto. Her doctoral project on public data governance examines the relationship between privacy law and policy, government infrastructure, and community networks. Madison’s research is informed by emerging models of collective data governance that seek to redistribute the socioeconomic benefits associated with contemporary datafication.
