Bio

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto. My research is primarily in human-computer interaction (HCI), with a focus on human-AI communication. Using a human-centered design approach, I study how people interact with conversational technologies, paying close attention to the ethical, social, and experiential dimensions of human–AI interaction. My work spans AI persona design, proactive AI, game-based conversational experiences, and the broader ethical and societal implications of conversational AI. I also serve on the steering committee of the ACM Conversational User Interfaces (CUI) conference series.
