Bio

Joseph is a PhD student in the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto. He is supervised by Eric Yu.

Joseph’s research aims to develop conceptual modeling techniques that effectively support requirements analysis and engineering. As technology systems become increasingly integrated into human lives and social networks, he draws inspiration from diverse fields such as social psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, economics, and political science. His core belief is that technology must be studied within its social context; understanding how systems influence or alter the social environment is essential for designing effective and viable information technology solutions.
