Bio

Helena Wright is a PhD student in the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto, where her research examines the relationship between technology, work, and organizational life. Her work sits at the intersection of labour studies, platform studies, and business and management scholarship, with a particular focus on tech worker culture, artificial intelligence, workplace technologies, and the future of work. Her current research explores how Canadian tech workers negotiate national identity within a globalized industry, with broader interests in digital labour, organizational culture, and the cultural politics of technology.
