Special Topics in Information: Advocacy and Leadership in the Information Profession

This course (INF2407H: Special Topics in Information: Advocacy and Leadership in the Information Profession) will consider the intertwined personal and professional skills of leadership and advocacy needed within the information profession. Topics may include developing advocacy strategies, understanding how government works and how advocacy groups can participate and be heard, being influential in the profession and within organizations, and the importance of developing personal and professional leadership competencies.
