*Every effort has been made for this table to be accurate to the information presented by the Student Accounts Office as of November 11 2019. If there is a discrepancy, then the tables on the Student Accounts Office (Table 2) supersedes that of any information found on our website.

August 23 Recommended tuition fee payment deadline for students registering/starting their program in the Fall session to ensure payment is received by September 13th registration deadline and to avoid cancellation of registration and course enrolment. International students must make a payment by this date to ensure coverage by UHIP at the beginning of September.
August 30 Faculty of Information Deadline: Coursework must be completed and grades submitted for July-August (S) and May-August (Y) summer session courses.
September 1 Deadline to submit documentation to be reviewed by the Committee on Standing for Spring/Summer courses (May to August). See Course-related Regulations for details.
September 2 Labour Day (University closed)
September 3-6 Faculty of Information Orientation Week runs September 3-6, 2019.

General Assembly: Tuesday, September 3, 2019.

September 6 Coursework must be completed and grades submitted for July-August (S) and May-August (Y) summer session courses and extended courses

September 9 First day of classes
September 11 Summer session grades available for viewing by students on ACORN
September 13 Registration deadline for students registering/starting their program in the Fall session (September to December); after this date a late registration fee will be assessed.

Minimum required payment due (unpaid fees from previous session(s) + 100% of current Fall tuition fee charges).

September 16 Final date to submit final doctoral theses to SGS to avoid fee charges for 2019-20.
September 23 Final date to add full-year (Y) and fall session (F) courses.
September 27 Final date to submit final doctoral theses for Fall Convocation.

Final date for receipt of degree recommendations and submission of any required theses for master’s degrees for Fall Convocation without fees being charged for the fall session.

September 30 Transfer Credit/Exemption application deadline (see Course-related regulations).

Payment deadline to avoid service charges on unpaid Fall session tuition and incidental fees. Monthly service charges will incur starting October 15. May 4 Final date to enrol in May-June (F) or May-August (Y) session courses.

First session, May-June (F-section) summer courses start. F-section classes run Monday, May 4 to June 15, 2020. Exam week, if applicable: June 16-19, 2020

Full session, May-August (Y-section) summer courses start. Y-section classes run Monday 4, May to August 17, 2020. No classes June 29-July 3, 2020. Exam week, if applicable: August 18-21, 2020
