The Faculty of Information Council  

The Faculty of Information Council is the governing body responsible for the academic affairs of the Faculty. In accordance with the University of Toronto Act, 1971 of the Province of Ontario, the Council exercises powers and duties in a number of areas, including: 

  • Determining academic policies at the Faculty 
  • Determining the content and requirements of its degree and diploma programs

Scheduled Faculty Council Meetings 

The Faculty Council has regularly scheduled meetings four times per year. The following dates were set for 2022-2023 academic year: 

  • October 13, 2022 from 4-5:30 
  • November 17, 2022 from 4-5:30 
  • December 1, 2022 from 4-5:30 (Special meeting) 
  • February 16, 2023 from 4-5:30 
  • March 23, 2023 from 4-5:30
