Governance & Accountability

The Faculty of Information Council is the governing body responsible for the academic affairs of the Faculty. Under the authority of the University of Toronto Act, 1971 of the Province of Ontario, as amended, the Council exercises powers and duties in a number of areas, including:

  • Determining academic policies at the Faculty
  • Determining the content and requirements of its degree and diploma programs
