Automation with Python 101

Python is one of the most popular programming languages in the world. Due to its 1 simple syntax it is often used by data scientists. In this workshop you will learn how to use Python to automate administrative and data tasks. Additionally, we will explore techniques to manipulate data in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word using Python.

Upon completion of the workshop you will:

• Learn how to install Python and Visual Studio Code.
• Understand the basics of Python.
• Be able to use Python to automate administrative and data tasks.
• Learn how to use Python to interface with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
