After the examination of many technical aspects of algorithms, from design to implementation, this course (INF2210H — Human Values in Data Science) will examine principles that need to be followed in order to ensure that human values and ethics are preserved.
NOTE: 2nd year students only. It is important to note that this course is a required course taken in the last term of the 2-year degree. Completing this course in the last term will ensure students understand the foundational principles of algorithmic approaches before studying their impact.
